As a part of the refurbishment project at Shaganappi Golf Course in downtown Calgary, Alberta, 6-inch Multi-Flow was installed horizontally under the greens. The contractor, Puddicombe and Associates, laid out herringbone patterns intensively across the entire green.

A herringbone pattern increases the horizontal surface area directly drained by the pipe. This is of great benefit, because as we all know, rain doesn't fall on only one spot, it falls everywhere. The horizontal herringbone design is made possible by the 6-inch horizontal double Y connector (part #06016).
