Berkeley
Little League, in Bayville, New Jersey, has every right to be proud
of its organization. Participation is high, the programs run smoothly,
there is a lot of parent and community support, coaches and managers
are well trained, and facilities are well maintained. A key component
to the well-maintained facilities is volunteerism.
In the
summer of 2002 a field at the Moorage complex, Field # 2, was completely
renovated. Multi-Flow drainage was an important part of the renovation.
A crew of 10 volunteers installed a Multi-Flow system on a Saturday
in October. The installation went smoothly and the work was accomplished
in a timely manner.
Five
years later, league president Bob Everett reports that the system
is still performing well and the field is extensively used with few
cancellations.
